What is BAEPSAE?

BAEPSAE is a premium, limited-drop streetwear brand. We design heavyweight oversized graphic tees, baby tees, crop tops, and hoodies with Y2K, vintage, and streetwear aesthetics. Every piece is intentionally limited — once a drop sells out, it's gone for good.

What does BAEPSAE mean?

Baepsae (뱁새) is a Korean word for a small bird — a crow-tit — known for trying to keep up with the stork despite having shorter legs. It's a metaphor for ambition that doesn't care about the odds. That underdog energy is at the core of everything we make.

What does Baepsae mean in Korean?

In Korean, baepsae (뱁새) is the everyday name for the crow-tit (also called the vinous-throated parrotbill), a tiny bird common across Korea. A well-known proverb says that if a baepsae tries to keep pace with a stork (황새), it will split its legs — a saying about trying to keep up with people who have far greater advantages.

What does the baepsae bird symbolize?

The baepsae has become a symbol of the underdog: people who weren’t born with privilege but are still expected to compete with those who have wealth, power and every head start. At BAEPSAE, we flip it — the small bird keeps moving anyway. Not born into it. Built for it.

Is BAEPSAE connected to BTS’s “Silver Spoon”?

“Baepsae” is also the Korean title of BTS’s 2015 song released in English as “Silver Spoon,” which uses the same proverb to talk about generational inequality and privilege. The song helped make the word known worldwide, and our brand shares its underdog theme. BAEPSAE is an independent brand and is not affiliated with BTS or HYBE.

Is BAEPSAE a Korean streetwear brand?

BAEPSAE takes its name and inspiration from Korean language and culture. The brand is designed and shipped from Las Vegas, Nevada.

How do you pronounce BAEPSAE?

It's pronounced "bep-say" (뱁새). Two syllables. Now you know, and you'll never forget it.

Yes. BAEPSAE is a registered brand with a fully operational Shopify store, secure checkout, real customer support, and thousands of followers across TikTok and Instagram. We ship real products to real people — over 4 million views on TikTok and counting.

BAEPSAE is a U.S.-based online streetwear brand. All shopping happens at baepsae.com — we don't have a physical store.

How do I place an order?

Can I cancel or change my order after placing it?

Yes — any time before your order ships, including pre-orders. Email hello@baepsae.com with your order number and we'll cancel it for a full refund or update your shipping address.

Do I need to create an account to order?

Nope. You can check out as a guest. But creating an account lets you track your order history and speeds up future checkouts — worth it if you plan on coming back for the next drop.

Is your checkout secure?

Yes. BAEPSAE uses Shopify's secure checkout, which is PCI compliant and encrypted. We accept all major payment methods including Shop Pay, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.

Do you offer discounts or promo codes?

We occasionally offer promotions for new drops, subscribers, and our email list. The best way to get early access to discounts is to subscribe to our email list at the bottom of baepsae.com. U.S. orders of $50 or more ship free.

How do BAEPSAE oversized tees fit?

Our oversized graphic tees have a relaxed, boxy streetwear fit. Order your normal size for an oversized look, or size down one for a more standard fit. They're designed to be worn loose with jeans, cargos, or layered under a hoodie. Check our sizing chart for exact measurements.

How do BAEPSAE baby tees and crop tops fit?

Our baby tees and crop tops are fitted with a cropped length — true to size for a snug Y2K fit. If you prefer a slightly more relaxed look, size up one. These are designed to be form-fitting — that's the vibe.

How do BAEPSAE hoodies fit?

Our hoodies are heavyweight fleece with a relaxed streetwear cut. Order your normal size for a comfortable fit with room to layer. Size down for a more fitted silhouette, or size up for extra room.

Are BAEPSAE oversized tees unisex?

What size should I order if I'm between sizes?

For oversized tees and hoodies, size up for a more relaxed streetwear fit. For baby tees and crop tops, size up for comfort or stay true to size for the intended fitted look. Can I exchange my order for a different size?

No — all sales are final because our pieces are limited edition. This is why we strongly recommend checking our sizing chart and emailing us before ordering if you're unsure.

Do BAEPSAE tees shrink after washing?

Our tees are pre-shrunk during production, so shrinkage is minimal. We recommend washing cold and hang drying to maintain the best fit and preserve the graphic print.

How long does BAEPSAE shipping take?

In-stock items ship within 2–5 business days of purchase. Pre-order items, labeled "Pre-order · Ships in 3–4 weeks" on the product page, ship within 3–4 weeks of purchase. U.S. orders then arrive in 5–8 business days, or faster with Priority Mail or UPS 2nd Day Air. International USPS orders arrive in 7–21 business days after shipping, and DHL Express (1–3 business days after shipping) is available at checkout. For full details, see our shipping policy.

Does BAEPSAE offer free shipping?

Yes. U.S. orders of $50 or more ship free. U.S. orders under $50 and all international orders ship at live USPS, UPS or DHL rates calculated at checkout. See our shipping policy for details.

Does BAEPSAE ship internationally?

Yes. We ship internationally to select countries, including Australia. International shipping is calculated at checkout from your destination and order weight, with USPS delivery typically taking 7–21 business days after dispatch. In-stock items usually require 2–5 business days for processing; pre-order items ship within 3–4 weeks. DHL Express is available at checkout. International orders are shipped duties unpaid: customs duties, import taxes, VAT/GST or carrier fees are not included in our prices or shipping rates and are the customer's responsibility. Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number by email. Available countries and final rates are shown at checkout.

How do I track my BAEPSAE order?

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order ships. You can also check your order status by logging into your account on baepsae.com or visiting our tracking page.

Why hasn't my tracking number updated?

Please allow 24–48 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for tracking to update. If there's no movement after 7 business days (domestic) or 14 business days (international), email us at hello@baepsae.com with your order number and we'll investigate.

What carrier does BAEPSAE use?

We ship via USPS, UPS, or DHL depending on your location and order size. Your specific carrier and tracking number will be included in your shipping confirmation email.

Does BAEPSAE ship to P.O. Boxes?

Yes, we ship to P.O. Boxes and APO/FPO military addresses within the United States via USPS. These deliveries may take slightly longer than standard domestic shipping.

Can I return my BAEPSAE order?

All sales are final. Because our drops are limited, we cannot offer returns, exchanges, or refunds for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or buyer's remorse. For full details, see our refund policy.

What if my item arrives damaged or defective?

Email hello@baepsae.com within 14 days of receiving your order. Include your order number and clear photos of the damage. If approved, we'll issue a full refund or send a replacement depending on availability.

How long does a refund take to process?

Approved refunds for damaged or defective items are processed within 5–10 business days to your original payment method. Your bank may take additional time to reflect the credit in your account.

What if I receive the wrong item?

Contact us at hello@baepsae.com within 14 days of delivery with your order number and photos of the item received. We'll send the correct item or issue a refund depending on availability.

What if my package was stolen or never arrived?

If tracking shows delivered but you haven't received it, check with neighbors and building staff first, then email hello@baepsae.com with your order number — we'll help you open a carrier claim. If a package is confirmed lost in transit, we'll send a replacement or refund.

What are BAEPSAE tees made of?

Our oversized graphic tees are made from heavyweight cotton with a vintage washed finish. They're thick, soft, and built to hold up wash after wash. These are not thin fast-fashion tees — you'll feel the difference the moment you put one on.

What are BAEPSAE hoodies made of?

Our hoodies are heavyweight fleece with a structured, relaxed fit. They're designed for layering, staying warm, and looking good doing it. The fabric has weight and body to it — these hoodies don't pill, sag, or lose their shape.

How should I wash my BAEPSAE pieces?

For best results, wash cold, inside out, and hang dry. Avoid bleach and high heat in the dryer — this preserves the graphic print and keeps the fabric looking fresh longer. Treat it well and it'll last.

Will the graphic print crack or peel?

Not if you care for it properly. Our prints are made to last — but like any graphic tee, high heat in the dryer and rough washing will wear them down over time. Wash cold, inside out, hang dry, and your graphic will stay looking clean.

Will sold-out items be restocked?

No. Once a drop sells out, it's gone for good. That's what makes every BAEPSAE piece truly limited. We don't restock, re-release, or bring back old designs. If you see something you want — get it before it's gone.

How often does BAEPSAE drop new collections?

We release new limited drops regularly. The best way to stay in the loop is to subscribe to our email list and follow @ilovebaepsae on TikTok and Instagram — we announce drops there first, and email subscribers get early access.

How do I get early access to drops?

Subscribe to our email list at the bottom of baepsae.com. Email subscribers are the first to know about new drops, get early access links, and receive exclusive offers before anyone else.

How many pieces are in each drop?

It varies by design, but every drop is produced in small quantities. Some pieces sell out in hours, some in days. We intentionally keep runs small so every piece feels special — and we'd rather sell out than sit on inventory.

What payment methods does BAEPSAE accept?

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover), plus Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, PayPal, and Venmo. All payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments.

Can I pay with Shop Pay or buy now, pay later?

Yes! Shop Pay is available at checkout for one-click purchase. For orders over $35, you can also use Shop Pay Installments to split your payment into interest-free installments.

Is my payment information safe?

Absolutely. BAEPSAE uses Shopify's secure, PCI-compliant checkout. Your payment information is encrypted and never stored on our servers. We take security seriously — shop with confidence.
